17th-Oct-2008 01:04 am - Final Fantasy VII/XII: (...) Theoretical Joint Bunansa-Shinra Empire (Balthier/Tseng, Rufus/Tseng)
IT'S GROWING INTO SOME BIZARRE KIND OF MONSTER.

Some Things You Can't Buy, For Everything Else There's The Theoretical Joint Bunansa-Shinra Empire

Fandom: Final Fantasy VII/Final Fantasy XII/The Stockmarket
Characters: Balthier/Tseng, Rufus/Tseng
Rating: Soft R
Summary: Tseng's in New York, Balthier's in London, and Rufus is in the sky as the world burns around them. Hedging on futures can be such tricky things.
Functional explanation: The stock markets exploded. Balthier, Rufus and Tseng are hot. This comment thread happened.

Part the first
Part the second

You don't really have to read them in any order. I don't even know if we have an order.

2363 words and ho'shit, five thousand backstories! \o\

'Good boy,' Tseng says with a smile. )
30th-Aug-2008 06:20 pm - Final Fantasy VII: Dark City Lights (Tseng/Reno)
Dark City Lights

Fandom: Final Fantasy VII (OGC)
Characters: Tseng/Reno, hinted Tseng/Rufus
Rating: R
Summary: Sometimes you just want the world to burn as much as you burn inside; sometimes you want all hell to break loose so that you don't feel too alone, or too frenetic.

1111 words and one of those pairings I'd never thought I'd write.

And he's too close to home to feel jaded. )
22nd-Aug-2008 09:16 pm - Baccano!: To Come, And Go
This one sort of came for me in part because of inspiration from [info]laylah's most amazing fic (I hope you don't mind!); this psychotic little offshoot now rests as the second of my weird pan-fandom immortality Triple Bill. \o\

Title: To Come, And Go
Fandom: Baccano!
Characters: Luck/Claire, Claire/Chane, appearances by the rest of the Gandors
Rating: Soft, soft R
Summary: Luck tries something - some things - he shouldn't, in search of something - some things - that he's not sure he should have.

1877 words and weird little family issues.

It makes Luck smile, at least, before the doors close and separate them both. )
6th-Jul-2008 12:28 am - FFVII: Growing Pains (Veld/Tseng)
*PAINED VICTORY CRY* OH GOD YES. If you are looking for polished Tseng - this is not the place. I present to you baby!Tseng and papa!Veld and all the muck of the Past (TM). \o\ /o/

Title: Growing Pains
Rating: Soft R
Characters: Veld/Tseng
Warnings: A bit of manhandling. All in a day's work for a Turk, really. Pairings if you squint.
Summary: Growing into his responsibility as a Turk was not automatic for Tseng; some things you have to be trained how to do.

5507 words and a whole lot of invented Tseng!backstory, oh god.

Oh?' Veld said, looking up. 'You'll say many things about me when I'm gone, Tseng, but be sure of one thing. You will not say that I brought you up to be a good man.' )
6th-Apr-2008 02:43 am - Final Fantasy VII: Dark Places (Tseng/Zack)
It was meant to be a short response to [info]aikonamika's prompt (Tseng/Zack (or the other way around), seeing each other in the Shinra Tower the next day, and recognizing that shadow of a bruise/mark they left on the other), but it sort of grew into an evil little monster. \o/

Title: Dark Places
Characters: Tseng/Zack
Rating: Hard R
Summary: Every once in a while, the train graveyard morphs into a debacle of human noise and moving bodies; everyone wants to feel alive, and men from Shinra aren't exceptions.
Warning: Sex? Follows the sort-of-series in Country Boy and The Necessary, but it's very much standalone.

1290 words. I bet that you'd look good on the dance floor/Don't know if you're looking for romance or/Don't know what you're looking for.

And, like moths to the flame, Midgar came, packing into the abandoned place made loud and hot and wet with the humidity of bodies and breath and mouths. )
2nd-Apr-2008 12:57 am - Final Fantasy VII: The Necessary (Tseng)
Title: The Necessary
Characters: Tseng
Rating: (Very soft) R
Summary: Working for Shinra during the War in Wutai and Tseng does what he wants: chooses his allegiances, who he sleeps with, what he does. Then Tseng does what he must: breaks bones, ethics and people.
Warnings: Runs along the same parallel as Country Boy; mentions sex briefly; Tseng's history is all invention, invention, invention!

1929 words. God Tseng, why do you always have to jump on me like this.

The trouble with war: it was easy to start one, and hell to end it. )
31st-Mar-2008 01:45 pm - American Gods: Two Man Con

Summary: It's a two man con: you can't do it on your own, even if you want to, even if you need to, even if you try. An invented backstory.

Ridiculously long 5395 words, according to Microsoft. Sequel to In Symbols. Yule NYR08 fic.
